Habitat for Humanity - Fountain Construction Site (MORNING)

Date & Time:

Saturday, October 5, 2019
9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

0 have signed up & 15 openings remain.

Habitat works toward their vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat Construction sites are active sites, where a home is being built for a local family. The family will benefit from the safety and security of a new home. Through Habitat for Humanity, families go through a rigorous application process to be considered for a new home. However, every family that is considered has a high level of need and is personally invested in the building process.

What to expect: Volunteers will be helping build a home for a family.

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 16+

What to wear: Volunteers should wear work clothes and closed-toed shoes. Safety Equipment will be provided.

What to bring: Please bring sunscreen and a water bottle!

Rally Details: Because you are serving in the Fountain area on CityServe Day, you will be rallying at Mission Trace (see map for details) at 8am. Join us at the Southeast Rally to pray and grab some coffee before you head to Habitat for Humanity - Fountain Construction Site to serve. One of our local Pastors will pray over you before you go out to serve Fountain.
