Description:

They believe that high expectations for teachers and students are essential for all students to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.  Learning will be personalized and aligned with the state standards in order to build critical thinkers. They believe that building a school community requires all participants to understand and take responsibility for their roles. They will have honest, effective communication that advocates for ALL Queen Palmer students, staff, and families. They will empower their families by collaborating with parents and community to provide necessary resources to create a positive home-school connection. 

What to expect: Volunteers will be assisting with outdoor campus clean-up, clerical tasks and clothing organization.

Age Requirement: All ages welcome!

What to wear: Volunteers should wear clothing for outdoor clean-up. 

What to bring: Please bring work gloves and rakes. 

Rally Details: Because you are serving in the Southeast area on CityServe Day, you will be rallying at Mission Trace (see map for details) at 8am. Join us at the Southeast Rally to pray and grab some coffee before you head to Queen Palmer Elementary to serve. One of our local Pastors will pray over you before you go out to serve the Southeast side of Colorado Springs.
