Description:

What to expect: Restoration of illegal four-wheeling trails in Mesa Valley Open Space. This project will consist of using hand tools to de-compact, rake, seed, and cover with mulch the four wheel trails with the goal of making the trails blend in with the surrounding landscape by the Spring.

You will be meeting Park Ranger, Mark Tatro at  Beidelman Center (740 W Caramillo St.) and carpooling to the trail.

Age Requirement: Middle School and older, parental supervision required. 

What to bring: Work gloves, water, sunscreen, snacks, eye protection (sunglasses).

What to wear: Dressed in layers, close-toed shoes, long pants, weather appropriate clothing.

This project begins earlier than other projects due to the breadth of the work being completed. If you sign up for this project, you are not attending a 8am rally.
