Description:

The mission of Family Promise is to help families experiencing homelessness and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through community-base response. 

What to expect: Volunteers will be providing assistance at their Day House, where some of their families spend their days. The projects will include gardening, grounds keeping, cleaning, weatherization of the building, basic household maintenance, etc.

Age Requirement: All ages are welcome! (Parent or guardian must be present)

What to wear:  Please wear a mask.

What to bring:  Please bring gloves, a water bottle, trash bags and gardening tools

Parking instructions: Volunteers can park in front of the building and pay for a meter OR volunteers can park in the parking lot behind Family Promise labeled "First United Methodist Church Parking" located on the southeast corner of Nevada and Saint Vrain St.

Meeting Spot:Volunteers will meet in front of the Family Promise Day House.

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
