Description:

Hope & Home trains and actively supports Colorado Springs foster families and foster parents all across Colorado who feel compelled by Christ’s command to take care of “the least of these.”

What to expect: Indoor projects - sorting donations, indoor deep cleaning, paint touch ups, organizing storage areas

Hope & Home Waiver: COSILoveYou will email out a physical waiver that every participant will need to fill out and bring with them day of.

Age Requirement: 11+ (Parent/Guardian must be present)

What to bring: Work gloves, water bottle & sunscreen

What to wear: Work clothes, long pants & closed toed shoes. Please be prepared to wear a mask when in close proximity with others, while this is outdoors, please be prepared to wear a mask.

Parking instructions: If turning right off of 30th street, volunteers will see the Hope & Home sign. Take a slight jog past the sign and head to the back of the parking lot. Our front doors will be on the left and past that, there is a playground at the back of the parking lot. Park in any spaces between the front doors and the playground.

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
