Description:

Many women and children are in dire situations, without hope and nowhere to turn. Dream Centers Mary's Home exists to provide health and hope for people who are working to rebuild their dreams. Mary's Home exists to create a safe haven for women escaping cycles of poverty, abuse, and homelessness in our community.

What to expect: This team will be working on neighborhood clean-up and small tasks around the property, and potentially staining a fence

Age Requirement: Family Friendly (Parent or guardian must be present)

What to bring: Gloves, Water bottle, Gardening tools - shovels, rakes

What to wear: Dress for outdoors and wear clothes that can get dirty/stained, please bring a mask

Parking instructions: Parking is alongside Michigan Ave. Please be respectful to not block any driveways.

Meeting point: When you arrive, look for the sign of your project. As there will be 3 separate teams on the same day. You are signing up for the Neighborhood project.

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
