What to expect: Volunteers will work alongside City of CS staff to remove invasive trees along Mesa Creek in Sonderman Park. Work will involve using hand tools to cut small diameter trees and shrubs, and dragging them to a trail for removal

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 12+ (Parents or guardians must be present).

What to wear:  Please wear a mask, closed-toed shoes, and long pants.

What to bring: Gloves, Water bottle, sturdy shoes, work gloves if you have them, layered clothing, water bottle, snack, sunscreen, mask

Parking instructions: Limited parking in parking lot, plenty of nearby free street parking

Meeting Spot: At the Creek Week tent, should see Creek week staff when you arrive

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
