Christian House of Prayer (CHOP) is a Church in the Southeast part of our city that provides a variety of services to the community. They have a daycare and food pantry onsite. 

What to expect: Volunteers will be working alongside CHOP staff/volunteers to distribute food to drive thru clients. Additionally volunteers will be assisting with simple ground maintenance (pulling weeds, cleaning, etc.). Please come prepared to be flexible. The staff will give you a variety of jobs around the Church Campus/Food Pantry.

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 11+

What to wear:  Gloves, Water bottle, closed toed shoes, comfortable work clothes and a mask

What to bring: Please bring work gloves, and a roll of trash bags (you may be doing some simple landscaping that could require trash bags).

Parking instructions:  Please park in east parking lot

Meeting Spot: Volunteers will meet on sidewalk next to Church

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
