What to expect: The aquaponic garden provides healthy fresh produce year round to food insecure families in El Paso Country through an eco-friendly soilless closed loop ecosystem that utilizes Tilapia and floating raft boards to provide a variety of leafy greens, herbs and fruit-bearing food options. Volunteers will help harvest and plant 400+ heads of lettuce and other garden produce items

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 7+ (Parent or guardian must be present)

What to wear:  Please wear a mask and closed toed shoes. Gloves and mask will be available.

Parking instructions: in the parking lot adjacent to the greenhouse, behind Mountain Springs Church

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
