Springs Rescue Mission works to to see lives transformed and filled with hope as the community works together to fight homelessness, poverty and addiction. Because of their love for and obedience to God, their mission is to mobilize the community to provide relief, rehabilitation and empowerment services through their homeless shelter, Samaritan's kitchen, resource center and addiction program. 

What to expect: At this project, volunteers will be able to help with two things. 1) helping prep and clean their brand new kitchen. 2) help clean and prep their shelters.

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 18+

What to wear: Please wear a mask, modest clothing, closed-toed shoes, and long pants. If your hair is shoulder length or longer, please wear it back. 

What to bring: Gloves, Water bottle, Gardening tools, Trash bags, Gardening Tools to include: weather condusive clothing, sunscreen, work gloves, shovels, rakes, and if have "grabbers/pinchers" for picking up trash

Parking instructions: Park outside 5 W. Las Vegas St, 59 W. Las Vegas St or 75 W Las Vegas St 

Meeting Spot: Volunteers will meet at 5 W Las Vegas St.

COVID-19 Details: Due to the COVID pandemic, please practice safety measures while volunteering. It is required that you wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part at all times. The only exception is for family units that live in the same household. We ask that you wash your hands before and after your project. Please refrain from touching your face or unnecessary surfaces throughout volunteering. The health of all volunteers is important to us!
