Monument Chair Unloading and Arranging Backpack Bash Volunteers

What to expect: Late shift volunteers will be assisting with moving and setting up 749 chairs in the worship center. At the conclusion of Backpack Bash chairs will need to be rolled out on large racks, unloaded, and arranged in the worship center. 

Age Requirement: 18+ preferred. 

What to wear: Outfit that you are comfortable moving in. Volunteers are expected to wear the Backpack Bash t-shirt that will be provided upon arrival. Please plan accordingly. Recommend: closed-toed shoes, clothing layers and sunscreen depending on weather, hat and or sunglasses.

What to bring: Water bottle, snack, sunscreen.

Parking instructions: Turn right into the Woodmen Valley Chapel parking lot from Wagon Bow Way. Pull into the second available parking lot on the right. You’ll know you’re there once you see the children’s playground equipment. (FYI, event guests will be instructed to park in the next lot over). 

Meeting Spot: Located near the children’s playground will be a volunteer check-in table. Please stop by to pick up your t-shirt and receive your volunteer assignment for the day.
