The Horticultural Art Society of Colorado Springs, Inc. (HAS) is a non-profit organization that maintains three public gardens, supported by membership dues, proceeds from our plant sale, and other activities, founded in 1962 by local horticulturalists, both amateur and professional. Our membership is open to all who have an interest in gardening.

What to expect: Volunteers will be completing garden maintenance tasks (raking, pulling weeds, digging up plants or planting plants).

Age Requirement: Family Friendly, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

What to wear: Closed-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen.

What to bring: Work/garden gloves and personal water bottle.

Parking instructions: Street parking is available. 

Meeting Spot: Please meet at the demonstration garden - 224 Mesa Road
