Safe Families for Children – serves Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. They are committed to serving families in crisis by partnering with local churches, where families open their homes and lives to vulnerable children.

What to expect: Volunteers will be fixing/stabilizing a chain link fence using large rocks, hauling away branches and cardboard from the yard, and trimming front bushes/tree branches. A volunteer with a truck is also needed to pick up rocks from a volunteer's home and bring it to the project site.

Age Requirement: 18+, adult only

What to wear:  Please wear comfortable work clothes and closed-toed shoes. 

What to bring: Personal water bottle, work gloves, trash bags, and tree clippers. This specific project would benefit from having someone with a truck to haul away branches and debris and pick up rocks from a volunteer's home to bring to the project site to stabilize the fence. 

Parking instructions: Please park in front of the home.
