Description:
Since opening its doors in 1983, Wildflower Elementary School has been committed to providing the highest quality instruction through best practices. Over the past few years, Wildflower Elementary has won numerous awards for our excellence in working with students. Wildflower was a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Awards Recipient both in 2011 and 2017. We also were the only Title I school in Colorado to receive the National Title I Distinguished Award for closing the achievement gap in 2016.
What to expect: Volunteers will be filling the front of campus planters with flowers, repainting lines on the front blacktop, and supporting with Teacher Appreciation Week supplies.
Age Requirement: Family-friendly, parental or adult supervision required of minors.
Waiver: CLICK HERE (Please print, fill out and bring with you. Adults & Minors must have D2 waiver to serve)
What to wear: Please wear comfortable work clothes and wear close-toed shoes. Please dress for the weather.
What to bring: Please support this project by bringing your own paint brushes/rollers for painting the planters.
Parking instructions: There is a parking lot on the south side of the building where volunteers should park.
