Description:

What to expect:  Volunteer tasks include - Clean gravel from parking lot and playground asphalt, clean and dispose of wood chips that have been blown around the building and on sidewalks, Rake out the existing mulch at the playgrounds so that we have enough under the swings and slides to make a better cushion. Pick up trash from the field surrounding our playground and parking lots. Pull weeds. Clean up dead leaves from flower beds near the building and anywhere else on the property (as needed). Clean cobwebs from around exterior doors and light above the doors. Power wash entry rugs. Weed whack any plant life near the fences surrounding the field/property. If time, painting inside one of the portable units.

Age Requirement: Family Friendly, adult supervision required for minors.

What to wear:  Hat, sunglasses, closed-toed shoes, etc. (Please bring sunscreen, and dress for the weather since volunteers will be working outdoors.)

What to bring: Work gloves, outdoor trash bags, rakes, dust pans, & personal water bottle. If you have a wheelbarrow, please bring it along. Also, if you plan to paint, please bring painting supplies (rollers on poles, paint trays, brushes, and dropcloths).

Parking instructions: Please park in the front parking lot.
