Description:

At the Colorado Springs Charter Academy, they believe that children need a challenging, stimulating, and motivating environment to fulfill their true potential. They need a school that is committed to academic excellence but also develops well-rounded students and responsible and accountable citizens. 

What to expect: Volunteers will be doing the following projects: Repainting white lines at Hug and Go, red fire lane curbs, and yellow curbs, touch up paint in classrooms, repair stair handrails and spot paint rooms; repaint red fire lane curbs, Staff Appreciation - Ideas include writing notes, making posters, organizing the staff lounge, decorating bulletin boards, making goody bags . . .

Age Requirement: Family Friendly, all ages welcome with adult supervision.

What to wear:  Please wear comfortable work clothes that you don't mind getting dirty/getting paint on, please wear pants, and closed-toed shoes. Please dress for the weather. 

What to bring: Please bring a personal water bottle, paint brushes or rollers if you have them, gloves, rakes, trash bags, and anything to cut branches.

Parking instructions: There is a parking lot behind the school and also across the street from the school. Either one of those parking lots can be used.
