Description:

As a nondenominational Christian charity, Hope & Home trains and actively supports foster families all across the Front Range who feel compelled by Christ’s command to take care of “the least of these. Abused and neglected children who’ve been removed from their birth homes get a stable and nurturing family to live with until it’s safe to go home again, or — when that safety isn’t possible — a family to give them a “forever home” through adoption.

What to expect:

Often, children and teens entering foster care arrive with very few possessions; in many cases, they arrive with simply the clothes they are wearing. Hope & Home has a series of "boutiques" filled with donations of like-new and new items such as clothing, shoes, toys, strollers, car seats, and much more for foster families and children to get any and all items they need (completely free of charge, of course!). Volunteers will be helping us sort through donations, do a bit of spring cleaning of these spaces, and switch the items in the stores over from winter to summer items.

Age Requirements: Family-friendly, adult/parental supervision required for minors.

What to wear:  Please wear comfortable work clothes & closed-toed shoes.

What to bring: Please bring a full water bottle. All other supplies are provided.

Parking Instructions: Any of the parking spots in front of the main doors are available for use, as well as any of the parking spots adjacent to the playground. Handicap parking spaces are located on the east side of the parking lot, nearest the playground.

Meeting Location:  We will meet in the main lobby of Hope & Home.
