Description:
*PLEASE NOTE - THIS PROJECT TAKES PLACE ON FRI, APRIL 28th*
KPC Respite Center and Nursery offers respite care for children in Colorado Springs. Temporary crisis and planned childcare for infants and young children at no cost to parents or guardians.
What to expect: Volunteers will help with yard work in our outside area by our playground along with the front yard of the center. This consists of raking leaves, pulling weeds, etc.
Age Requirement: Jr High +, 11 years+, but not a great project for very young children. All minors must have parental support present.
What to wear: Please wear comfortable work clothes & closed-toed shoes.
What to bring: Rakes and gloves for yard work. The project will provide water bottles, snacks, and trash bags.
Parking instructions: Volunteers should park in Ascension Lutheran Church (2505 N Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80909) parking lot and walk over to KPC
Meeting Spot: The meeting point will be in front of KPC and I will direct volunteers where to go from there to get started.
