Description:
Hope is Alive is radically changing the lives of drug addicts, alcoholics, and those that love them. This is a sober living mentoring/housing program that exists in Colorado Springs.
What to expect: Yard restoration around the home. Volunteers will pull weeds in the yard. Clean up and replace old flower beds, and also power-wash the brick walls, and fill portions of the backyard with rocks.
Age Requirement: Family-friendly, adult supervision required for minors.
What to wear: Closed-toed shoes, pants and a hat. Please dress for the weather.
What to bring: Please bring these items if you have them, work gloves and a water bottle, a rake, and a wheelbarrow if possible.
Parking instructions: In the street, driveways, or cul-de-sac. You will be parking in a neighborhood.
