Description:

The Pikes Peak Children's Museum is a community-built, hands-on educational destination that engages ALL children and their grown-ups by sparking creativity and passion for life-long learning through play.

What to expect: Volunteers will be painting walls, replacing ceiling tiles, and other restoration work. Painting and light maintenance skills would be great but not required.

Age Requirement: Family Friendly - parental supervision required for minors.

What to wear: Clothes that you can work in and don't mind possibly getting dirty or painted on.

What to bring: Water bottle and snacks if you would like. If you have painting supplies or tools that you think would help, bring those along.

Consider bringing a donation for the museum to serve kids and families in the area better:

Paint (acrylic, watercolors, washable)
Crayons, markers, colored pencils
Glue (sticks and liquid)
Paper (all kinds: construction, cardstock, big/small, colored, white, etc.)
Recyclables like: toilet paper rolls, towel paper rolls, cereal boxes,
Dry beans
Tissue Paper
Felt
Chalk

Parking instructions: Park in any of the museum lots.

Meeting Spot: Meet in the front lobby.
