Description:
The goal of the Solid Rock Food Hub is to assist in alleviating hunger in SE Colorado Springs by collecting food for distribution through a network of service agencies (Care and Share, Colorado Food Rescue, COSILove YOU and Harrison School District 2) that will support our efforts. The location of SRCDC food hub will be at Mission Trace Shopping Center
What to expect: Volunteers will be building shelves, stocking shelves and completing some painting.
Age Requirement: Family Friendly with parental supervision.
What to wear: Please wear comfortable work clothes & closed-toed shoes.
What to bring: Work gloves and a roll of trash bags. Please a water bottle and snack for yourself.
Parking instructions: Please park in the Mission Trace shopping center in front of the pantry.
Meeting Spot: The address for the pantry is 3219 S. Academy. Located by the daycare in Mission Trace shopping center. Google maps often takes people across the street. You'll be in the shopping center with the KFC. The Food Hub is behind the KFC by the daycare in a strip mall.
