Description:

Chipeta Elementary does so much more than teach reading, writing, and math. A culture of joy and empowerment encourages learners to take their thinking deeper, to wonder, and to inquire. Students take ownership of their learning, which promotes resilience, strengthens self-concept, encourages positive choices, and develops open mindsets about learning.

What to expect: Volunteers will be doing landscaping projects around the front of the building and a little on the backside of the building. We will be moving rocks from the front to the back and creating an outdoor seating area. We plan on transforming our front entrance into a xeriscspe landscape with low water plans, pea gravel, and other low-maintenance materials.

Age Requirement: Family Friendly, parental/adult supervision required for minors.

D11 Waiver - CLICK HERE (Please print out, fill out and bring with you to project!)

What to wear:  Please wear comfortable clothes, work gloves and closed-toed shoes.

What to bring: Personal water bottle

Parking instructions: You can park in either of our parking lots.

Meeting Spot: The front door of the school, next to the flag pole.
