Description:
Roundup Fellowship is a non-profit organization serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and associated behavior problems since 1973. Our goal is to promote dignity in all relationships while helping people with disabilities become as productive and independent as possible. Roundup Fellowship is dedicated to providing a genuine community alternative to people with conditions such as autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and epilepsy, or those who display physical aggression or self-abusiveness.
What to expect: Volunteers will be raking, shoveling, and spreading mulch.
Age Requirement: Sr High +, 14 years+, but not a great project for very young children. All minors must have parental support present.
What to wear: Please wear comfortable work clothes & closed-toed shoes.
What to bring: Rakes and gloves for yard work. The project will provide water bottles, snacks, and trash bags.
Parking instructions: Volunteers can park on the street
Meeting Spot: In front of the home address, this home belongs to the Roundup Fellowship program.
