Description:
Step 1: Reserve your slots through COSILoveYou for CityServe Day
Step 2: Go to http://cityserve.srm.volunteerhub.com and:
A. Create a profile for Springs Rescue Mission, then
B. Select the specific task (beautification of campus, hygiene prep, etc. ) you'd like to do at this project on April 29th for Spring CityServe.
If you've served at SRM before and have a profile, please sign into your SRM profile and complete step B above.
The vision of Springs Rescue Mission: To see lives transformed for eternity and filled with hope as our community works together to fight homelessness, poverty, and addiction.
What to expect: Volunteers will be completing various projects around the Springs Rescue Mission campus to include:
-helping with campus beautification outside
- hygiene prep and clothing stocking
-food preparation and serving.
We will try to accommodate your desired service preference as much as possible.
Lunch will be provided to volunteers at the end of the event. We would love for you to join us!
Age Requirement: Adult only, 18+ (every individual must sign themselves up because of the nature of this project)
What to wear:
- Wear Pants or jeans
- Ensure your hair is tied back ( if it's shoulder length or longer)
- Wear Closed-toed shoes (non-slick preferred, comfortable shoes are encouraged, as many positions involve standing/walking for extended periods of time)
- Please dress for the weather
Parking instructions: Parking is available at 39 W. Las Vegas Street in the front lot (closest to W. Las Vegas Street). To access this lot, please enter to the east of the Greenway Flats (4-story green apartment building) shared driveway and turn immediately left. This parking lot is located to the West of our main campus. Overflow parking is available at 75 W. Las Vegas Street.
Meeting Spot: Please enter, clock-in, and clock-out in the Welcome Center on the Volunteer/Staff side (Single door on the north side of 5 W. Las Vegas Street). This is the red side of the building facing Las Vegas Street.
